As far as I can tell, all the game stops you from doing is pressing H to hire a worker but Courseplay is independent of that (it just tells the game to drive to the next waypoint lots and lots of times). Missions will be meaningless when Courseplay comes along. You could probably get away with it because you don't need to process the field to 100% to pass the mission so the scrappy bits the autoturn leaves as it turns in to each lane probably wouldn't matter.
